It's almost been a year since I graduated from school. Honestly, it's hard to believe it, time truly does fly.
If I had to choose a favourite year in school, I'd choose the senior year without any hesitation or second thoughts. The reason for it is quite simple. In high school came realisation that it's almost over. No lessons, no teachers, no long corridors and kids sprinting around and no classmates. I guess, we all got that feeling and started treating each other more kindly. My class had always been very friendly but in senior year we all were on our best behaviour. We helped each other out with everything and it was so comforting and supportive. Maybe that's why we've survived the most stressful year of our lives quite unscathed.
As for the classes, my all time favourite subjects were, obviously, English, Literature and Geography. I wasn't really bright at exact sciences and wasn't fond of maths either. Although, I have to admit, I liked it when I could understand it. In our class, chemistry was the least popular subject but the teacher was so kind and caring. But my favourite teacher was my Russian/Literature teacher she was the youngest of all the teachers and her lessons were never boring. She even allowed us to drink tea during the lessons because it helped us to relax and not to stress about exams too much. She made funny comments about our papers and was so easy-going but at the same time responsible and loving. I loved her dearly.
As for the studying, in high school you have to study real hard to be able to enroll in college or university next year. If I remember correctly, I studied pretty much all the time but my routine was organised so well that it wasn't even boring or tiring, it was fun to learn things. I had to do a lot of work but so did everyone else, so I wouldn't dare to complain. I had private classes for the exams I was going to pass at that time: English, Literature, Russian and Maths. I don't remember actually missing classes without a reason, sometimes I felt so anxious about the upcoming exams that i would come even if I was dying. Despite my worries, I passed each and every single one of my exams successfully and was lucky enough to get into the university.
If I had to choose something that I loved most of all about school, it would be the people that were surrounding me the whole time. I'll always be thankful for their kindness and help.
