Aesop 

Aesop was a very clever man who lived many years ago in Greece. He wrote many fine fables. Aesop was known as a man who was fond of jokes. One day as he was enjoying a walk, he met a traveller who greeted him and asked how long it would take him to get to the town. Aesop simply said "go". The confused traveller tried to ask again but Aesop's answer remained the same. Actually, it made Aesop angry that the traveller hadn't followed his advice at once. The traveller thought the man had to be crazy and kept going. As the traveller started walking, Aesop was able to define, according to the traveller's pace, how long it would take the man to get there.

To sum up, Aesop was not only clever, but he had a great sense of humour. He was a little bit cheeky but also very kind.
